Development Market East Provided image/Gensler Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment, which owns the Sixers, and Comcast Corp. have purchased the former Rite Aid building at 10th and Market streets.

The partnership purchased 920-934 Market St. for $23.5M, 936-938 Market St. for $6.75M, 1000-1008 Market St. for $15M, and 1010-1024 Market St. for $10.75M.

It’s been reported that Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment, the owner of the 76ers, and Comcast Corp. are moving forward to revitalize the Market East area of Center City.
