Ryder Cup Europe announced Tuesday the location that will host the biennial event in 2031. After what will be a 34-year drought, the Ryder Cup will return to Spain for the 48th edition of the competition with Stadium Course at Camiral welcoming golfers to Costa Brava.

After 34 years, the Ryder Cup will return to Spain, as it was officially announced Tuesday that Camiral would host the 2031 Ryder Cup.

Camiral in Barcelona will host the 2031 edition of the Ryder Cup, the first time since 1997 that it will be played in Spain. The Ryder Cup is golf’s biggest team competition, pitting 12 of the best golfers from Europe and the United States against each other.
