In September, Toyota announced plans to enter the Repco Supercars Championship in 2026 with an A90-specification GR Supra, with Walkinshaw Andretti United selected as the homologation team. Despite recent news that the A90 being discontinued, Toyota Australia confirmed it will continue with the A90 design as originally announced.

Revealed in Japan on Nov. 28, the car is the hardcore Supra previously seen testing at Germany's Nürburgring racetrack in recent months. It was initially speculated to feature a GRMN badge, Toyota's designation for the most potent road cars developed by the Gazoo Racing motorsports division.

The Japanese auto giant has just announced one final track-focused special version of the A90 called, appropriately enough, the “Final Edition.” The sports car comes with more power and a host of other upgrades that combine to give it a significant performance bump.

Toyota Gazoo Racing ( TGR) has announced the Supra “A90 Final Edition,” marking the culmination of the current-generation Supra. Limited to 300 units globally, this special edition will be released in Japan and Europe, with sales in Europe expected to start in spring 2025.

Now, after just five short years on sale, Toyota has confirmed this jet black, not-here-to-deal-with-your- BMW -gags special edition is the last one. Hence why it’s called the ‘Final Edition’.

Bolder design Visually, the GR Supra A90 Final Edition displays a resolutely aggressive style. It features a carbon-fibre gooseneck rear spoiler, vented hood, revised diffuser with aerodynamic ducks and tailpipes with an “afterburner” design.

Toyota revealed two final special editions of its current-generation A90 GR Supra, the GR Supra Lightweight Evo and the GR Supra A90 Final Edition, both built to commemorate the sports car’s nearly six-year series production run.
