Fire crews fought a five-alarm fire that is said to have erupted at a business on Front Street in Amsterdam late last night, continuing their efforts into the morning. The blaze, which is said to have broke out at a tire shop near Riverlink Park,

The Amsterdam Fire Department confirmed to NEWS10 they responded to the area of Front Street on Sunday night for an active fire. NEWS10’s Anthony Krolikowski confirmed the fire is not far from the Amsterdam Skate Park.

Six people were injured after a three-alarm fire broke out at a two-story house in Queens Sunday morning. The fire was reported around 10:51 a.m. at 116-50 146th Street. 33 units responded and were able to get the fire under control at around 12:08 p.
