The Indian stock market saw a massive crash during the afternoon trading hours on Thursday, November 28, 2024. At 2:50 pm IST, the benchmark BSE Sensex fell by a whopping 1,163.92 points or by 1.45%,

The BSE’s 30-share Sensex slid 1,039.26 points to 79,194.82, after opening at 80,281.64, compared to the previous close of 80,234.08. At 2:00 pm, the index was trading at 79,438.81, down 0.99 per cent.

Infosys fell 2.86 per cent to Rs 1,869.16. Tech Mahindra, HCL Tech and TCS fell 2.68 per cent, 1.91 per cent and 1.42 per cent, respectively. M&M fell 2.52 per cent to Rs 2,934.7. The auto major recently unveiled of two electric SUV models.
