Almost a year ago today, Miami pulled off the shocker of the 2023-24 transfer cycle: It convinced Cam Ward to exit the NFL Draft and come back to college for his redshirt senior season. It worked out brilliantly.

Georgia's offense was going to face pressure in 2025. Now its starting quarterback from the past two years appears to have ratcheted it up.

Last January, the Miami Hurricanes persuaded Cam Ward to opt out of the NFL draft and spend his last year of college in Coral Gables. They will try to do it again this January and pull former Georgia star quarterback Carson Beck out of the draft so he can lead Miami’s offense in 2025.
