Thousands of Charlie Kirk supporters packed an arena at Utah Valley University on Thursday night to honor the conservative activist one year after he was assassinated on the campus.

Thursday will officially be recognized as "Charlie Kirk Day" in Utah on the one-year anniversary of the killing of the conservative activist at Utah Valley University, Gov. Spencer Cox declared.

“It wasn’t politics — it had nothing to do with politics,” talk show personality Glenn Beck said from the stand. For the 5,000 gathered in-person at the Turning Point USA “Freedom Built to Last” event, politics became almost an afterthought. There was no mention of Republican or Democrat.
