Following a 6-2 loss to the Colorado Avalanche, Pittsburgh Penguins star Sidney Crosby issued a strong message to the fans who booed the team.

The Pittsburgh Penguins have been playing well recently and Sidney Crosby had some thoughts on the fans' reactions.

In the third period, fans in Pittsburgh showered the players with boos, which irritated captain Sidney Crosby. After the loss, he met with reporters and appeared to call out the fanbase, who seemed to have forgotten how the Penguins have racked up some wins lately.

I suspect a certain quote by Sidney Crosby will have people talking today — I’ll touch on that later — but Tristan Jarry is a much bigger issue. His performance didn’t please coach Mike Sullivan, but I’d like to focus on two things Jarry said to reporters last night:

When he joined the Penguins during the preseason, Bissonnette fought during an exhibition game and the tilt was seen by Sidney Crosby’s mother. She thought her son had gotten involved in a scrap because the numbers looked similar. And boy, she did not like it.

Sidney Crosby doesn’t have many choices for offseason training partners who operate at a demanding NHL-caliber level in his hometown — home village, really — of Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia. But the Pittsburgh Penguins captain does have a pretty good option.
