DP World Tour pro Dale Whitnell became just the third golfer in the last 40 years to hit two holes-in-one in the same round on a professional tour.

Only two players — Andrew Dodt (2013) and John Hudson (1971) — have ever made two holes-in-one in a single round on the DP World Tour. Bill Whedon (1955), Yusako Miyazato (2006) and Brian Harman (2015) did it on the PGA Tour.

A DP World Tour pro defied staggering odds to make not one, but two holes-in-one during the same round. And that was just the beginning of what will go down as one of the wildest days in pro golf history.

Whitnell says he now has five aces but never before in competition. Andrew Dodt in 2013 was the first player on the DP World Tour to make multiple holes-in-one in the same round. Later in the clubhouse, there was a nice selection of beverages courtesy of Whitnell.

Jack Milko has been playing golf since he was five years old. He has yet to record a hole-in-one, but he did secure an M.A. in Sports Journalism from St. Bonaventure University. Making a hole-in-one is every golfer’s dream, and it’s a topic discussed during almost every round they play.

The estimated odds of making two holes-in-one during the same round are 67 million to one, according to the U.S.-based National Hole-in-One Registry. Whitnell's wild round of 9-under 63 also included an eagle, seven birdies, two bogeys and one double bogey. He is tied for eighth at the DP World Tour event at 9-under par.
