Former talk show giant Ellen DeGeneres confirmed Sunday that she now lives in England because of President Donald Trump ― but didn’t make the move permanent until he got elected, the BBC reported.

Less than a year after Ellen DeGeneres and her wife Portia de Rossi moved to England permanently, the pair announced they are selling their home.

"We needed a home that had a horse facility and pastures," the former talk show host told 'The Wall Street Journal' via Sotheby's International Realty

Ellen DeGeneres moved to the U.K., reportedly in November 2024. However, the talk show host is listing the house for sale, as per the recent reports.

Ellen DeGeneres has claimed that she knows of A-list actors that are still “scared” to come out as gay. During her last ever stand-up tour, the infamous former chat show host joked that she had been “kicked out of show business twice” - the first time being when she came out as gay in 1997.
