Elly De La Cruz went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer against the Dodgers on Tuesday. De La Cruz provided all of the offense for the Reds on Tuesday with one swing of the bat as he took Tarik Skubal deep for a two-run blast in the third inning.

The fourth-inning blast marked De La Cruz’s 26th home run of the season, setting a new single-season career high. The five-game streak is the longest of his career, moving him within two games of Joey Votto’s franchise record of seven consecutive games with a home run, set in 2021.
