Dallas Cowboys legend Emmitt Smith discussed the organization’s ongoing extension discussions with defensive end Micah Parsons.

Emmitt Smith has always taken exception to how the media has chronicled his infamous contract dispute with Cowboys owner Jerry Jones back in 1993. The NFL's all-time leading rusher again went on the defensive when he was asked if his contract situation was similar to what current Cowboys star Micah Parsons is currently going through.

Smith was in attendance at the premiere for the Netflix docuseries that chronicled the Cowboys’ run in the 1990s.

Chapman and Maclain Way debuted their NFL docuseries in L.A. on Monday alongside some Cowboys Hall of Famers, where David Ellison also made an appearance.
