The FIA have released pictures of a ‘refined version’ of the 2026 Formula 1 car concept, the sport moving onto smaller, lighter cars. After much debate, Formula 1 finally confirmed the technical regulations for the 2026 World Championship in June with the aim of designing cars that are more nimble car than the current F1 machines.

As 2026 gets closer and closer, F1 teams are concentrating more on the cars for that season. Due to a major rule change, the cars will look quite differently both technically and visually in terms of design.

During the season-ending Abu Dhabi GP, Verstappen was once again hit with a 10-second penalty after an incident involving McLaren's Oscar Piastri on the opening lap of the race. This statement led to speculation that Verstappen may once again find himself in hot water with the FIA for something other than a racing incident.
