Gainesville police are investigating a fatal shooting after officers found a gunshot victim in the 100 block of Southeast 16th Avenue on Sept. 10.

A Gainesville man faces several charges, including serious injury by vehicle and DUI, after a single-vehicle crash Tuesday night that injured a woman and a 5-year-old boy, according to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office.

The Harn Museum of Art played host Thursday to the opening of the 22nd Gainesville Latino Film Festival, which continues through Sept. 27 with an art exhibit, films, music, dance and food.
