Large crowds of protesters took to the streets of Tbilisi, Georgia for the fourth night in a row, to demonstrate against the country’s decision to suspend EU membership talks. Clashes between demonstrators and police also took place earlier this year.

Georgia’s lari fell to the weakest level against the dollar in two years after a decision by the ruling party to delay talks on European Union membership triggered violent clashes in the capital city.
