Mariska Hargitay has won two additional Emmy Awards, over two decades after winning her first. On September 5, the actress accepted both honors for the documentary at the 78th Emmy Awards Night 1 ceremony. Her documentary won her Outstanding Directing for a Documentary/Nonfiction Program and Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Special.

Mariska Hargitay is also set to host the 2026 Primetime Emmy Awards live on Monday, Sept. 14
