Imagine two of the country’s most opinionated celebrities combining to lead the United States in four years following President-elect Donald Trump’s second and final White House term.

During a recent episode of The Steam Room podcast, Hall of Famer and NBA analyst Charles Barkley floated the idea of potentially joining forces with Cuban on a presidential ticket. Ernie Johnson chimed in and asked if Barkley being on the ticket alongside him would heighten Cuban's interest in running for office.

Charles can talk to anybody and put himself in any circumstance and get along with everybody, and I think that’s what we need,” Cuban said.

We’ve entered into an age where you don’t have to be a politician to run for president. Donald Trump ushered us into that era in 2016, and all signs are pointing towards that trend becoming commonplace.
