Trevor Rogers pitched impressively into the eighth inning, Coby Mayo homered twice and the Baltimore Orioles took advantage of Cleveland’s wildness on the mound, beating the Guardians 6-4 to snap a six-game losing streak.

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Can momentum take a day off? Maybe it had to go grocery shopping or take out a quickie loan to gas up the family pickup truck. Whatever the case, it went missing Saturday night when the Tigers beat the Guardians 6-0 at Progressive Field.

The Guardians continue to show that they can be a playoff team this season and could be tough to beat once October baseball rolls around.
