A pedestrian was hit and killed by an NJ Transit train in Middletown on Wednesday morning. The man was hit at 7:25 a.m. in the area of the Normandy Road bridge, just south of the Middletown station, NJ Transit said.

Travelers are still making their way back home after the busy Thanksgiving rush. And to complicate matters, there's trouble once again on Northeast Corridor rail service.

NJ Transit rail passengers heading into or out of Penn Station New York faced delays of up to an hour Monday morning. Following an earlier suspension, Northeast Corridor and North Jersey Coast Line rail service have resumed with limited service.
