Javier Bernal returned to the ring before Tuesday's NXT. Bernal had been sidelined after undergoing foot surgery in June 2024. Bernal last competed on the June 4th NXT Level Up tapings, teaming with Drake Morreaux to take on Chase U (Duke Hudson & Riley Osborne).

Unless an earlier report that says the announcer won’t be back is correct. Either way, all eyes are on the Jan. 21 episode, one week after Graves was allegedly pulled because of social media posts expressing his unhappiness at being assigned to NXT rather than Raw.
