PERRY COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - Salt trucks are on the roads, keeping them clear amidst the snow and cold temperatures, working to melt the ice on the roads. Public Information Officer of Highways District 10 H.B. Elkins said crews are out despite the conditions.

Grandin Road is temporarily closed until salt trucks can treat the roadway. Grandin Rd. is shut down between Kings Avenue Road and Striker Road. It is unknown how long the road will remain closed or when the salt trucks will be able to treat the road.

After walking for a couple weeks through southern Mexico with hundreds of other migrants, they accepted an offer from immigration officials to come to Acapulco with the idea they could continue their journey north toward the U.
