The most hilariously ridiculous cop spoof series is back. At CinemaCon in Las Vegas, Paramount kicked off its time with a debut of the teaser for "The Naked Gun" reboot with Liam Neeson replacing the late Leslie Nielson in the lead role. You can watch the teaser below.

The teaser, which was released Thursday, features Liam Neeson thwarting a bank heist disguised as a little girl dressed in a plaid miniskirt and burgundy cardigan. After a bank robber confronts the child, Neeson's character pulls his mask off and proceeds to take the robbers down.

A teaser for "The Naked Gun" revival, in theaters Aug. 1, includes a joke about original "Naked Gun" co-star O.J. Simpson.

Paramount Pictures dropped the first look at the studio's "The Naked Gun" remake on Thursday with the film's first trailer, introducing Liam Neeson as Lt. Frank Drebin Jr., the son of the iconic comedy character played by Leslie Nielsen in the original franchise.
