President Donald Trump said Friday that he’s committed to making the U.S. a world leader in cryptocurrencies as industry leaders heaped praise on him for reversing what they said had been unfair attacks on digital assets by the previous administration.

President Trump’s first White House Crypto Summit is underway, featuring top industry leaders including Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong, Kraken CEO Arjun Sethi, MicroStrategy’s Michael Saylor, and Robinhood’s Vlad Tenev.

Trump used the summit to push his vision of making the US “the crypto capital of the world”, but investors wanted more than just words.
