One of the biggest WNBA storylines this offseason is whether legendary Phoenix Mercury guard Diana Taurasi will return for her 21st season or not. Taurasi was still mulling the decision over when the Mercury were eliminated from the playoffs by the Minnesota Lynx,

Griner was the No. 1 pick in the 2013 WNBA draft. In her 11 seasons in Phoenix, Griner averaged 17.7 points, 7.4 rebounds and 2.6 blocks in 30.4 minutes per game. She was named to 10 All-Star games, won two Defensive Player of the Year awards and was a two-time scoring champion.
