COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – A massive weekend winter storm that shut down central Ohio is leading to schools being closed on Monday. The storm was expected to leave about a foot of snow on the ground, with temperatures remaining so cold in the upcoming week that it will have no immediate chance to melt.

The state could see between 8 and 14 inches of snow as a major winter storm batters Ohio and several other states.
