Widespread rain showers will move into the metro Detroit area before temperatures climb back into the 70s this weekend, forecasters said.
No frost advisory is in effect tonight as clouds will keep temperatures in the 40s. A cold front is bringing a chance for a few isolated showers, especially north of M-59 late this evening.
Detroit's weather this week includes sunshine, light winds, and potential showers with high temperatures in the low 60s to low 70s.

Metro Detroit weather: Cold morning with some patchy frost before temps rebound
Today starts cold with some frost, but once temperatures warm, it will basically be a copy and paste of yesterday.
The chance for showers is very low, with most of us looking and cloudy skies and lows in the low 40s by Saturday morning. The storm system will spin over Canada through the day Saturday, keeping a slight chance for a shower here in southeast Michigan through the day.
Today: Clouds build in the afternoon. Highs will reach the upper 60s with spotty rain showers closing in towards the evening. Winds: SSW 10-15 mph
