Overall, the day looks a bit gloomier than Monday, with mostly cloudy skies continuing. Temperatures will be held back a bit as a result, with highs in the upper 30s to low 40s; low to mid 40s in southern Iowa. Clouds will begin to break up this evening with the threat of patchy fog back in the forecast for Wednesday morning.
