Some areas of Massachusetts received over a half a foot of snow from the overnight storm, with parts of northern New England getting similar amounts. Here’s a look at snowfall totals across the region,

Several inches of snow coated areas throughout Massachusetts from a storm Saturday night into Sunday. The storm also caused snow emergency parking bans to be instituted and churches to cancel their services.

StormTeam 5 said that much of the snow that fell could get washed away on Sunday as that transition to rain continues.
