In this tech story we are going to take a look at a set of Eddie Motorsports '55-57 Chevy truck billet hood hinges. Each hinge is made of 6061 T6 aluminum and machined to very close tolerances.

Surprisingly, it didn't take much arm twisting. The first step to installing the hinges is to remove the hood. It's a two-person operation any way you slice it.
