State Farm will reverse its cancellation of home and commercial protection policies in 22 Los Angeles counties amid the catastrophe caused by the wildfires.

State Farm, the largest homeowners insurance company in California, jolted residents last year by announcing it would not renew 30,000 policies. That included about 8,100 homeowners in communities ravaged by the current wildfires,

Since the wildfires broke out in early January, State Farm’s claims department has fielded over 7,400 home and auto claims, State Farm said.
