COLUMBIA, Mo. (WVLT) - Nearly a year after it was announced Kellie Harper would not be returning to the Lady Vols, she has landed another coaching job within the Southeastern Conference. The University of Missouri announced on Tuesday that Harper would be head coach of their women’s basketball program.

The Missouri Tigers found a new women’s basketball coach on Tuesday, one likely familiar to fans of the game — especially around the Southeastern Conference. Mizzou athletic director Laird Veatch announced in a news release that Kellie Harper has been hired as the next head coach of the Tigers, succeeding Robin Pingeton.
