The atmosphere will be cold. Precipitation is expected to be frozen, but snow, sleet, and freezing rain are all possible. Trends over the last few days are favoring measurable snow in all areas, but the sleet and freezing rain chance will increase farther south.

Storm Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) for two areas in Michigan ahead of our incoming weekend snowfall. In both areas, up to a foot of snow - or more - is forecast through Sunday night.
