All Virginians should receive measurable snow on Wednesday. The highest snow totals will be observed about 200 miles (ish)north of ENE moving surface low and that places parts of Southside Virginia to Petersburg, Williamsburg, and Hampton Roads in the heaviest snow swath.

There is a high chance of significant snowfall across a good chunk of central Virginia.

1.) We’ll have a classic winter storm to track next week for Feb. 19 and Feb. 20. The big, storms/lows coming up from the south can be identified more easily. 2.) It’s a classic 1-2 punch: cold and dry, then a big low coming up from the South.
