On Thursday during his interview with Pat McAfee, Aaron Rodgers did not sound like someone who was fully committed to playing football in the 2025 season. Rodgers, who has been pursued by the Pittsburgh Steelers for the last month, said personal issues need his attention for now over football.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have been heavily connected to free agent quarterback and future Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers. While they have been connected quite often to the legendary quarterback, Rodgers remains a free agent and has not signed.

The Steelers hold six picks in the upcoming draft, including the No. 21, No. 83 and No. 123 selections. The franchise has met with quarterback prospects including Colorado's Shedeur Sanders, Syracuse's Kyle McCord, Louisville's Tyler Shough and Ole Miss' Jaxson Dart ahead of the draft, according to The Athletic's Mike DeFabo.
