The joke was a hilarious callback to the rumours from 2023 that the singer was in millions of pounds of debt, after gambling $50million (£37.4m) away at MGM Casinos. It was then alleged that the singer’s long-term performance partnership, which has been in place with the company since 2016, was put in place to offset the money the star owed.
