USA Swimming is now saying there is more to the sudden resignation of Delaware AD Chrissi Rawak for their CEO position than they initially announced.

USA Swimming's board of governors says Delaware athletic director Chrissi Rawak will not assume the role as CEO and president because of "unforeseen personal circumstances that we learned about late this week.

In a surprise reversal, Chrissi Rawak won't be taking over USA Swimming. The sports's national governing body announced Friday it is no longer hiring the Delaware athletic director as president and CEO “due to unforeseen personal circumstances that we learned about late this week.
