The studio has set the feature, with a script from Mike Flanagan, for a theatrical release on Sept. 11, 2026. Matt Reeves and Lynn Harris serve as producers for the movie about Clayface, the DC Comics character that originated as a Batman villain in 1940.

The DC Comics character Clayface has been getting plenty of play on Max’s Harley Quinn series, where he’s voiced by Alan Tudyk. But it’s looking like the shape-shifting villain’s next act will take him to the big screen.
