During his two seasons there, he threw for 6,963 yards, 70 touchdowns, and only 14 interceptions, while completing 68.4% of his passes. After his sophomore season, Deion Sanders left Jackson State to become the head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes, and Shedeur followed him.
