President Donald Trump on Saturday celebrated his 79th birthday reviewing a parade of tanks, armament and marching soldiers gathered in the nation’s capital for the Army’s 250th anniversary celebration,

Demonstrations in McAllen, Midland, Odessa, Austin and elsewhere in Texas were largely peaceful, as some protests went well into the night.

The protest coincides with the U.S. Army’s 250th anniversary celebration and parade, which is also President Donald Trump's birthday and Flag Day.
