Eberechi Eze ’s £68million release clause at Crystal Palace expires on August 15. Standard Sport understands the release clause remains active until that date, when the Premier League season begins with Liverpool hosting Bournemouth.

Arsenal and Crystal Palace have been involved in recent club-to-club talks over the transfer of Eberechi Eze. The Gunners have been heavily active in the market this summer and have already spent close to £200million on six new players.

Arsenal have enjoyed a fruitful summer on the transfer front and Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze remains in their sights as they look to strengthen further. Eze’s release clause is understood to be around £68million, but Arsenal have been hesitant to meet this fee and would ideally like to do a deal below that sum.
