Neither the vernal equinox nor the calendar have any direct relationship to Houston’s weather, and Mother Nature has a habit of defying expectations.

Showers and storms are very likely Tuesday morning and a few could be severe in East Texas and Louisiana. It's possible that we could have a brief heavy storm, but fortunately our round of rain should be brief - lasting from around 7 a.

Sunshine and dry air will bring us a treat of brisk mornings and great days Wednesday and Thursday. No problems are expected other than very dry air on Wednesday. Look for warmer, more humid conditions on Friday.
