Localized flooding is possible with the heaviest of Labor Day weekend showers but lightning and heat remain some of the biggest concerns in Florida.

Labor Day is Monday, Sept. 7, and it gives many Floridians a three-day weekend for family visits, beach trips and out-of-town travel, especially to Florida's theme parks.

Mild conditions and low humidity will bring temperatures in the mid-80s on Tuesday. Moderate warming is expected midweek as an approaching front brings a slight chance of showers.
