President Trump’s deployment of thousands of troops and Marines to Los Angeles is fueling concern that they have not been properly trained to interact with civilians.

The Marines will join some 2,000 National Guard troops that have been on the streets of the city since last week when immigration raids set off protests.

The company of about 200 Marines has been there training with the National Guard, but are now taking over guarding the federal building.
