As suspense over the Maharashtra Chief Minister lingers, Deputy caretaker Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has made a massive revelation ahead of the swearing-in ceremony scheduled to be held on December 5.

Pawar added that the Deputy Chief Minister positions would be given to Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena and his faction of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP).

The BJP has also confirmed that the new Mahayuti government will be formally sworn in on December 5, 2024, at Azad Maidan in Mumbai, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi set to attend the event.
