Sean Manaea retired his first 15 batters, Francisco Lindor and Juan Soto homered early and the New York Mets beat the Miami Marlins 7-5.

Miami stranded two runners in scoring position in the seventh but drew to within 7-5 in the ninth when Joe Mack and Marsee hit back to back doubles with one out off Kodai Senga, who entered 0-9 with a 7.11 ERA and six saves. Owen Caissie and Kyle Stowers then struck out against Senga to end it.
