Yankees slugger Aaron Judge will be placed on the injured list with a flexor strain, manager Aaron Boone announced Saturday after his club’s 9-4 loss to the Philadelphia Phillies at Yankee Stadium. Judge was held out of the lineup Saturday with what Boone called an elbow issue,

Yankees star Aaron Judge was out of the lineup Saturday against Philadelphia because of an elbow injury.

Boone said Judge's UCL is intact and that he will serve as a designated hitter upon returning from the IL.
