“South Park” creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone renamed their show “South America” in a not-so-subtle dig at Trump, big tech and the pair’s own corporate bosses.
Sackets Harbor, located along the eastern shores of Lake Ontario, is home to a number of Canadian residents. A village of 1,400 people, it was a major military outpost and naval command center during the War of 1812, when the U.S. clashed with British and Canadian forces.
The adult animated sitcom thanked Apple and Google for their “bravery” in showing the body of water as “Lake America” to some users of their map apps.
