Former Detroit Tigers left-handed pitcher Tyler Alexander is back in the AL Central after agreeing to a deal with the Chicago White Sox, the team announced on Sunday. The Tigers’ second-round pick in 2015 was designated for assignment by the Milwaukee Brewers last week and elected free agency after clearing waivers.

A 6-foot-6 righty with a fastball in the upper 90s, Cusick’s yet to find his command enough to make the major leagues. Through 14 appearances in 2025, Cusick has a 6.32 ERA and 11 strikeouts in 15 2/3 innings.
