(CNN) — Ancient plant fossils that puzzled scientists have turned out not to be plants after all, new research has revealed.

Pokemon's next three Funko Pops have been revealed and will be available this week, introducing Ceruledge, Slowpoke, and Turtwig to the collection.

Scientists analyzed two fossils resembling leaves and realized they were the rare shells of baby turtles that lived in South America during the time of dinosaurs.
