Detroit Red Wings coach Todd McLellan began his Thursday comments with a message regarding the devastating fires in the Los Angeles area.

DETROIT – Shoot the puck guy likes Todd McLellan. He’s the one sitting in the upper bowl at Little Caesars Arena who watches the Detroit Red Wings pass the puck around and around, particularly on the power play, and impatiently shouts “Shoot the puck!”
